Story 06 – A Friendly Fugitive (Part 6)

Whitey, the female white unicorn that is apparently the fugitive of the colorful unicorn. She talks about why she was being chased off by the colorful ones. Hearing the reason as to why Whitey was deemed guilty by the other unicorn enrages the group of friend. Ryu was trying so hard not to unleash her fire into the air.

“GRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH” Ryu shouts. “WHAT DID THEY THINK THEY ARE DOING??? DON’T THEY REALIZE THAT THEIR REASON MAKES NO SENSE???”

“R-Ryu, calm down!” Hana pats Ryu’s back and tries to calm her down.

“HOW CAN I??? THOSE COLORFUL UNICORNS ARE DOING SOMETHING REALLY REALLY WEIRD!”

“B-but there is nothing we can do…” Whitey responds with a dejected face.

“OF COURSE THERE IS! WE CAN JUST BUR–”

“Calm down, Ryu!” Jun calms Ryu down with a single chop to the head. “What do you think, Toyu? Can you think of something to get out of this problem?”

“Well… If you ask me… We can always try to get out of this land and take Whitey with us.” Toyu answers as he keeps rubbing his chin, thinking.

“That is a good idea, actually.” Ken adds. “Whitey, do you know how we can get out of this land?”

“Well… there is a magical gate deeper in the forest…” Whitey answers.

“Then, would you come with us?” Hana chimes in.

“Umm… I thank you for the invitation, but I could not… at least not yet…”

“Eh? But you are going to suffer if you continue to stay here!” Ryu insists.

“But I cannot. My little brother is still out here somewhere, so I have to find him!” Whitey stays with her decision. Hearing how determined Whitey is, Ryu has no right to force her way of thinking to the unicorn.

“Okay… I understand. But once you find your little brother, promise me that you will get out of this land, okay?!” Ryu shakes one of Whitey’s leg. In response, Whitey simply nods.

Since they now know where to go in order to escape the land, they all say goodbye to their new friends.

“The next time you guys come here, please find me if you need some help.” Whitey quietly said. She was unsure whether or not there will be a next time, and whether or not she will still be able to help Toyu and friends.

“Of course! The next time we come here, WE are going to help you! We will change the mind of those colorful unicorns!” Responding to Whitey’s words.

“That is a promise, okay.” Whitey uses her teeth to take out a few strands from her mane and turn it into a bracelet in everyone’s arms. “My mane will tell me if anything bad happens to any of you.”

“Thank you!” The group says in unison.

It is hard for the group to leave the unicorn land without actually solving the problems they are having. However, staying here will also make the situation even worse for everyone. That is why, with a heavy heart, they wave goodbye to their new friends. Whitey, meanwhile, goes back into one of the bushes and disappear.
